There are a lot of portable vaporizers on the market these days. Even if you've used our vapor guide to help choose the right kind of vape, it’s always worth knowing a little more about what’s available, so you can make the best choice for your vaping needs. To help you make the best purchase, we’d like to tell you some things about some of our most popular products.
This week, we’re talking about the Da Vinci Ascent, one of our best-selling portable vaporizers.
What Is It?
The Da Vinci Ascent is a portable vaporizer for use with both ground aromatherapy blends and concentrated aromatics. It’s got a higher price point than a few other, entry-level models, but the quality of the unit and the vapor it produces are definitely worth it.
If you’re ready for a step up from your first vaporizer, the just might be for you.
The Ascent is versatile, capable of handling both blends and concentrates – which not every portable vape can do. The vape's construction is solid – it’s a heavier unit with a swivel-out ceramic heating chamber and an all-glass pathway. The mouthpiece and airway are both fully removable, which makes them easy to clean and care for.
It’s also incredibly easy to use, thanks to straight-forward digital controls which can be easily adjusted up to 430 degrees. You can adjust the temperature on the fly to get the right quality of vapor for your preference, for any material you choose to vape with the Ascent.
Speaking of vapor quality, the Ascent’s all-glass mouthpiece, air path, and glass-lined ceramic heating chamber all mean you’ll get consistent, pleasing vapor every time.
The Not So Good
The Ascent needs cleaning, slightly more regularly than some other vapes. Because it can handle both loose leaf and concentrates, it needs a bit more care than leaf-only vapes.
It’s also notably larger than some other models – about the size of your smartphone, and about twice as thick. While still completely portable, the Ascent might not fit in every pocket.
Who Should Use It?
The Da Vinci Ascent isn’t exactly an entry-level vaporizer. While it is easy to use, those with some vaping experience will definitely get the most out of the unit. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable vape that can handle any aromatics you care to throw at it – the Ascent is for you.
